Desperate times call for desperate measures.
I woke up at 6am Tuesday morning with a mountain to climb. I got to work, editing my video straight away. After editing all day, it reached 5pm. I had about 30% of the edit done, however, I still needed my interview release form signed by everyone I interviewed at the club, so I went along to the Hashtag United game as they were playing that night. I got all of them signed after the game and then went back home.
I got home at 11pm and continued editing. I knew I had a long night ahead of me. The hours were passing by, and I still had loads to do. I had to go to Bournemouth (where my Uni is) on Wednesday to submit my assignment, so this had to be done within the next 24 hours. The next thing I knew, it was 5am and I still hadn't finished. I finally got everything finished, with zero hours sleep to my name, at 7:30am, Wednesday morning.
I had no time to celebrate through, as I had a 3 hour train to get from my house to Bournemouth to go submit my project. I also still had my 1000 word critical reflection to complete, my script to submit, my risk assessment and my blog. I did as much work as I could on the train, whilst feeling like a literal zombie and then got to Bournemouth and made my way into the Uni at 12:30pm. I got working on the stuff I had left to do. Finally, at 6pm, I finally finished everything, and it was time to submit.
The relief of submitting it was immense, although I had almost stopped functioning at this point. STILL NO SLEEP. I still had a 3.5 hour journey home yet. A very long train journey later, where I was fighting for my life to stay awake, I arrived back home at 11pm! All I had eaten in the last 24 hours was a meal deal at the station (which was £6, what a joke!) so I made some food for myself. After showering I got into bed at 1:30am and finally the 44 hours awake were over, and so was my assignment! After tens of hours of filming and editing, I was so proud and happy with my work.
If you made it this far, thank you for reading my blog! I get my grade for this project back on the day of my birthday, next month, so come back on the 23rd of January to find out the result!
And the video is going to linked on my next post, so go watch it now!!!
Thanks for reading along, goodbye from me!
